Ready to get your book out in 2017?

Are you all ready for the festive season?I Can you believe that November is only a few days away?
I sat down this weekend wondering where has 2016 gone so quickly. Then again I had to remind myself that, I was in fact, getting older – ouch !!

I guess we cannot stop the clock; there is no replay button; life goes on regardless of what we choose to do with our time.

I was so privileged that in the time I have- I was able to spend it amongst some amazing women and men who gathered at the Phenomenal Book tour. They decided they were no longer going to play small by having their books in their guts, so they got published.

There were stories of:
√Childlessness due to infertility that seemingly came from poor choices of termination
√20 years crack cocaine addiction
√Childabuse to include incest, starvation and eating disorders
√How to leave your 9-5 and live on your own terms
√ Imprisonment for eight years for drug trafficking
And the list goes on.
What struck me about the authors is that their age groups varied and there were not two stories alike.
I said this to say- we all have a book in us, and our stories need not be the same.

That is why I am running a four weeks book writing/publishing course in November.
I hear you saying well I don’t have a story that has any of the things above. Guess what?
I don’t expect you to. Notice I didn’t say a story writing course? I said a book writing course. That’s because we all have a book inside of us.
There is one issue though there are ONLY 10 spaces.

The good news here is your book does not have to be the definitive guide or hundreds of pages long. It can be if you wish, but it really isn’t necessary. Readers now have shorter attention spans and many are used to reading online, so shorter books are actually becoming more popular.
