My hair groom was overdue- I am loving the freedom I feel with my natural hair………years ago I was being disingenuous with who I am as a person to please my then husband. I would wear all sorts of hair from Brazilian to- I can’t even recall now and once he left I started feeling I needed to be true to me.
I gradually threw out the weaves, wigs and started being more authentic to who I am…who I BE.
Thankfully today I don’t have to worry about my wig falling off on stage like I use to ……..I stand in my crown powerfully.
#Lesson: don’t do things to please the crowd, please you first and stand authentically in who you BE.
Thanks Millie Bailey for making me not perm my hair that day.
